The South Island Wildlife Hospital is caring for a baby pukeko caught up in the response to Friday's terror attack in Christchurch.
南岛野生动物医院目前正在照看一只pukeko(紫水鸡)幼鸟。周五基督城发生恐袭事件后,幼鸟不幸卷入警方行动。

A car belonging to a police dog unit hit the bird's mother on Saturday while responding to the aftermath of the attack.

Fully armed officers are out across New Zealand after the terror attack, which saw 50 people killed in mosques on Deans Ave and Linwood Ave.

The Christchurch-based wildlife hospital said on Facebook officers arrived with the baby pukeko wrapped up in a police uniform.

The hospital said the baby is doing well now and has been named SWAT.
院方称,目前幼鸟状况良好,而且还给它取了个名字叫SWAT。
The hospital told Newshub SWAT did not need any special veterinary treatment and is now being looked after by a volunteer.
院方告诉Newshub,SWAT无需任何特殊治疗。现在正处于一名志愿者的悉心照顾中。
